BYC adult racing includes events that are “open to all competitors”, and others that are limited as a “member only” registration (i.e. skipper or all crew must be a member). See below for links to event pages, race documents, online registration, and results.

In addition to the events listed above, BYC offers other opportunities such as Mugwumps (Wed night junior member racing), the Walter Seymour race (between adult and junior teams), Frostbiting Series (Oct-Apr), RC Lasers (Oct-Apr), and Predicted Log cruise races. Our race management team of volunteers is highly qualified and we pride ourselves in supporting regattas and events around the bay, having our members compete more broadly and at the highest levels, and generally working to advance and promote the sport of sailboat racing.
BYC sailors have a rich history of competing in Narragansett Bay, New England, and farther abroad. We strongly encourage our membership to represent BYC and participate and support other clubs and their regattas and events.
